	John Gregson graduated with a First Class Honours in Fine Art from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1971. Following a successful career in Arts Education, John chose to paint full-time from 1995. Since then John's work has undergone a metamorphosis as his themes on light shadow and textures has developed. John lives and works with his wife in south west France near Aubeterre sur Dronne in the Charente. John is one of the featured artists on the P&O Cruise ship Ventura and several pieces of John's work have been used in pre- launch publicity.
