About John Gregson & His Work

John Gregson graduated with a First Class Honours in Fine Art from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1971. 

Following a successful career in Art & Design Education, John chose to paint full-time from 1995 and now lives and works full time is the small historic town of Aubeterre sur Dronne in the Charente, south west France. 

We have chosen four paintings from four different series of works  produced over the last ten years, and although chosen at random, we think they give the visitor a snap shot of both the subject matter and style of John's work.

In 2007 John was commissioned to provide a number of very large paintings for the P&O Cruise ship Ventura. For more details please of the Ventura project please follow this link.  P&O Ventura

There is a permanent exhibition of Johns work at the Galarie 4 Saisons St Aulaye France.
